Matthew Wilson | Director & Financial Adviser
Matthew has more than 30 years’ experience in a broad range of financial roles. Starting his career in professional services and becoming a Chartered Accountant, working in Australia, Singapore, Indonesia and the UK, before moving into the corporate world and working with a number of large, well-known national and multi-national companies across a diverse range of industries.
In 2019 Matthew moved back into professional services, joining a financial planning practice and undertaking the additional study and on-the-job learning to become an ASIC registered Financial Adviser.
In 2023 Matthew took the leap and started his own business, Excelerate Financial Services, with two main goals, to establish a client-focussed and professional business, and to support people to identify and achieve their financial objectives.
We will give it to you straight, with limited jargon.
We will work hard to provide good outcomes for our clients.
We take our professional and personal responsibilities seriously and always strive to do the right thing.
We will always look for continuous improvement opportunities, including the use of technology to create efficiencies.

Away from work I am married to Caroline and have two children, both currently studying at Uni. We really enjoy travelling and exploring new places, and some old favourites.
I am a sports lover and try to stay fit with social tennis, some cycling, and the occasional round of golf. We also enjoy sampling Adelaide (and SA’s) vibrant food and wine venues.
